Yupii, summer is here and this amazing time of summer holidays got us like crazy. Next week we pack our clothes and we go on a big holiday. Yes, it is only visiting family and friends but we stay for 2 whole months. And the big question came from my husband, what I actually want to take. As the weather in Slovakia can be anything from hot sunny days to proper cold autumn. But I am still travelling light this time. I did not decide what I take but I prepared some inspiration for you.

Summer destination

Either you decide to visit City or you spent your lovely summer holidays at the beach, pack your suitcase with only the most necessary items is a huge win. Just to think of faster route through the airport, no long queue to beat before spending long, long minutes at the security check. No need to wait at the departure for your large luggage, faster to catch the transport to your hotel. No hassle to get all your luggage in the car, bus… You get me what I am talking about. Right?

From my own experience, I can tell you it is too much. I took my huge luggage when I was going for a few months, not a few days. You know the reasons. Last year we spent holidays by the sea and we took only 2 pieces of hand luggage for 3 of us for a week. Not bad hmm. That’s why I can not recommend travelling light more. Life is much easier. Trust me you won’t need much anyway.

Because by the sea we are so relaxed we don’t want to spend hours and hours choosing the right outfit.
