We can buy better and looks like million-dollar babies but without spending most of our savings.

High-Quality Wardrobe Staples But Without a Hefty Price Tag

If you’ve been following my journey for some time you know how I built my capsule wardrobe and adjusted it to perfection. One of my New Year’s resolutions was to shop smarter than ever before.  Meaning to create a shopping list/wishlist of the items that I really need to either replace or I need them as I never had them before. But I keep the budget in mind. If you like me, and you like quality items but can’t afford the ridiculously priced designer pieces this post is for you. I picked my favourite pieces, perfectly suitable for a capsule wardrobe. All of them are from sustainable brands that makes them even more special and last a lifetime.

Trainers

Who doesn’t own a single pair of trainers? I think that kind of person doesn’t even exist. Especially last few years the concept of a capsule wardrobe and owning less made the trainers the special entrance to office wear as well. How cool the white trainers looks like with the black suit and simple t-shirt? Unbelievably cool. One of the best brands out there are definitely Veja, they are not only sustainably made but also come at an affordable price. If you are on a hunt for simple white trainers I like those as well – Oliver Cabell and  Common Projects.

Knits

We all love that soft warm touch of our sweaters. A few years ago I tried cashmere for the first time and since then I didn’t buy any other sweater. Once you try the cashmere you’ll never go back. Soft Goat has a beautiful selection of styles and colours to choose from. But I also found beautiful pieces at London Cashmere Company or The Curated.

We like to wrap up in soft wool coats. They come in all shapes, but it seems that the most favourite the last few years is a longer oversized style. Who would like to look chic and nicely warm in cold winter? Some of my favourites are also The Curated and Stylein.

There is nothing better than a crossbody bag. They keep your hands free, your small belongings secure and they look stylish as well. Lately, I fell in love with the crossbody bags from a small company based in Slovakia. The bags are handmade in a workshop, doesn’t have their own shop yet, so they can keep prices really reasonable.  They don’t cost more than 140€, that it’s a really good price for a leather bag. They even ship internationally, which is even better.

The wardrobe can’t be complete without a nice pair of pumps. It doesn’t matter if you like the kitten heel or sky-high heel the nice pair of pumps make you feel and look unforgettable.
