I plan to do more custom posts, if you have any questions please send me the email. Some ladies did so already and I created posts according to their wishes.

I also plan to do more colour wardrobe even it’s not really my style, but many of you like colours. And I know the neutrals doesn’t fit all and if I want to help more ladies to feel their best I need to do something extra.

Being a minimalist trying to live more sustainably, the creator from the bottom of my heart I would like to show you more projects on how to DIY clothes, redone or reuse what you have. I will also open a new section in the shop with one of the kind items what were DIYed,  preloved or made just we needed to do keep our hands busy.

How to add colour to your wardrobe, feminine and boho

How To Add Colour To Your Capsule Wardrobe

One of the requests came along and the really big challenge was to create a wardrobe for a lady who would like to find the most suitable colours for her Olive skin. She has a feminine and boho style. Doesn’t wear heels and carry a rucksack, to keep her hands free to play with her daughter. Have a look at my suggestions for all of you who has a similar style.

Base Colours and Prints

I kept base colours burgundy, white and denim. It will be a nice contrast to an Olive skin and actually, it makes stand out of an olive skin tone. The burgundy colour is eye-catching. The focus will be on a sweater, t-shirt and shoes.

The floral dress is boho style, floaty and really feminine.

Denim can be in any colour you like ladies, everything will suit you.

Golden skirt – longer length so you can run around and bend as much as you like without any worries. It is also a great length for more professional looks or social events. It is easily styled with everything and adds another interesting colour to your wardrobe.

Backpack – in blush pink. I don’t think it would look so great right next to the skin, but as an accessory, it adds a nice touch to a simple outfit. And goes really well with the rest of the wardrobe. It also fits your laptop and all necessities on the go. That would be a nice option to accomplish a feminine look.

The coat is in a similar colour as a backpack, but when you wear it with a bright sweater or t-shirt it takes focus somewhere else.

White t-shirt and trainers – bright white gives a nice contrast to your olive skin. White trainers are staples in a wardrobe and generally goes with everything. White trainers can be a great all-year-round shoe for a mild climate.

For summer is a great shoe option mules – they are easy to style with jeans and dresses in any kind of weather condition. I live in London and the weather can be all kind in one day, I wore my mules from May – October. And they are so comfy.

For winter boots, the classic Chelsea boots are always a good idea.

T-shirts – simple t-shirts with an interesting detail is a nice feminine touch.

White shirt – I added it as an extra as it goes with everything. Even if you don’t wear it much you have always ‘ the professional look ‘ on hand if you need to attend some special events, choose silk for an extra feminine look.

I didn’t include much accessories but burgundy scarf would be a great option and I would go for the same coloured knit hat in the winter.

For summer the silk scarf or a summer hat makes a great accessory. Everyones wear them and the last few years they are more popular than ever before.

I picked the items from Baukjen one of my favourite shops as I know them and quality is great. It is a sustainable brand with clothes made of natural materials. Everlane has a great choice of sustainably made denim and a sweater is from the Peoples Republic of Cashmere.

Shoes and backpack are from Matt & Nat – sustainable products made of vegan leather. If you don’t wear heels I picked great simple looking and comfortable flats.
