We’ve been spending so much time in comfortable clothes that we don’t want to separate our ways but we want to have it all. Are you wondering how to look chic in comfortable clothes without compromising on style? Those who understand what I am talking about will really appreciate the fact that fashion changed a bit and comfortable clothes make the entrance to the office world and our everyday life outside of our house. You’ll find some much-needed inspiration below if you are stuck and you don’t know how to look chic in comfortable clothes.

How To Look Chic In Comfortable Clothes

I am one of the few people who resist the comfort of stretch bands on pants. I’ve been living in jeans the whole lockdown and it’s my go-to pair of trousers that I always reach for. But fashion changed and more people reach out for more comfortable fashion choices, without compromising on style. It’s the same with the elasticated waist and loose fits. Out there are many fashionable ladies who wear comfortable clothes and still look amazing. The balance is important. It’s like wearing tight jeans with a loose shirt or blouse. With the loose trousers wear something more fitted on the top. Or something smart and polished. You can wear a simple skirt with a T-shirt that will look good, but if you want to take it to the next level add an eye-catching accessory. An oversized necklace, bracelet, earrings or bag will do the job to make you look great.

Balance The Proportion

As I mentioned before you need to keep balance with the clothes that you are wearing. But you should balance your body proportion. And by that, I don’t mean weight at all, but I mean height. For us, petite ladies are better if they wear fitted trousers, no you don’t need to go back to jeans, but something like barrel leg fit is better than loose and long. Once you wear it with the fitted top you will be ready to go. Only add a statement necklace and a bag for an effortless look.
